Fiano thrives on our property and we work both in the vineyard and winery to build a textural and concentrated wine, tracing the line between the exotic characters in the variety and the natural tannin and acid levels. 

A medium colour, this wine has punchy fruit aromas of kaffir lime, sherbet and dried pineapple, balanced with complex creamy lees perfume and cardamom spice. The palate is concentrated and full bodied, with the phenolic structure and acid line driving the length and finish of the wine.

2019 Vintage at Sutton Grange

The 2019 vintage saw an average Winter, with good water storage. Super cold and dry Spring, with lots of frost pressure. Rain around December meant we had solid canopy growth. Ripening was influenced by a few warm days in early February, while later in the month and early March saw nice and easy conditions. It resulted in the most balanced year we have seen with canopy and fruit.
